Smart Key + Remote Start Question

When I use the remote start, I can only unlock the driver's side door with my Smart Key. I was told by the service department this was normal. Can someone confirm? Its annoying as I have remote start + normal keyfob on my 5 and can unlock all the doors after starting the car.

Yes I unlock using the remote start remote after the car has started.

On my car I can open all the doors but I have to use the remote start Keyfob, the Smart Key only opens the drivers door.
