SLS Midpipe Help - Who's got one????

I posted a few days ago about a broken J Pipe on my P5. You guys all helped me out with suggesting options. I chose the Midpipe route.

I ordered a SLS Midpipe (high flow cat, stainless, Protege/Protege5). It came today.

Here's the problem. If you look at the picture on the ProtegeGarage website for the SLS Midpipe, you'll see two pics on the top, and two pics on the bottom. The two on the top have the J Pipe integral to the midpipe, the two on the bottom - No J.

I got a no J pipe midpipe delivered to me today.

My questions are... Who on here has actually ordered a SLS Midpipe for a P5? Did I screw myself by specifying catted/stainless/P5? What combination of choices was I supposed to make to get the damn J Pipe integral to the midpipe?

Anyone had to do a return to ProtegeGarage before???

I'm pissed, and I'm guessing it's my own damn fault - (bicker) - both me!

u should have ordered a j-pipe not just the mid-pipe. if you pick up an obx header it should all work out

i would suggest calling Ken at Protege Garage and let him know that you didn't receive what you ordered

I inteded to order a midpipe with the j-pipe combined into a single unit, much like the upper picture here:

I got the catted pipe on the bottom, rather than the catted pipe on the top.

I'll be calling Ken today, but I'm guessing I got what I ordered. Just that I ordered something other than what I intended. If so, Red Foreman would have a few choice words for me, as will my wife when I tell her about the 25% restocking fee.

My question is for anyone that has ordered a SLS Midpipe. What combination of order options would have gotten me the pipe on the top? I should have called and explained what I wanted, rather than just placing an internet order. Is the picture on the top even applicable to a P5? I'll be finding out later today when I call I guess.

I believe that mid-pipe is the one for the MSP. I don't know if it'll work with a factory exhaust manifold on a P5.

If you are faced with the restocking fee, let me know. I'll buy it off you for exactly what it lists for on ProtegeGarage ($249 shipped or whatever it is- Protege Garage is blocked here at work so I can't confirm).

Tom03es - I'll be calling when they open in about 45 minutes. If what you say turns out to be the case, that the integral J-Pipe part is for the MSP, I would be glad to sell you the part.

In fact, I could probably deliver it. I'll be in the Denver and Breckenridge (or Dillon, can't remember which) for work Oct 13-24. Your sig says Colorado. Anywhere near the Denver metro area?

I'm not sure how to do PMs, but I'll figure it out if this turns out to be the case.

Yep, I'm in the south Denver metro area. But even if you'll be in Breckenridge (or Dillon- basically the same thing) on Friday the 17th, I can drive up and meet you there. I never need much of an excuse to go to the mountains.
