slo03.5msp's ssafc map

Yeah he fried the ring landings a bit ago, but he was dicking around at the time. IIRC he was high reving show boating and then ended up winning a race on 2 cylinders!!!

Yeah he's running 440's I have to say his car is amazing. I've driven it!!! Plus I was there at the dyno when he made those numbers. Search my youtube for vids of the dyno day!!!
MSP Rad: How did you get Bill's Map?? Have we met??

no we haven't met... I've known bill for a while now, he's the one that tuned my car. As far as how I got it, well he uploded it on my lap top last weekend and asked me to post it up, as it may be helpful to some

You need to come out to some of the meets then. That is if I can ever make it. Where in the chi are you located. I'm about 2 blocks from "Comisky" I refuse to call it "The Cell"
There is another MSP down the block it belongs to a former member on here named Dexter. Bill did a mild tune for me, but will retune it when I get a wide band,

quick question guys, since there are a good number of tunes out there for 440cc injectors, and my brother happens to have a set lying around that he can't use until he saves up enough money to get an ssafc/wideband and a new wga, I was wondering what are the options to using the 440cc injectors with the fuel rails, my brother has a high flow one, but don't know which one, and I know that there isn't really any that you can just buy.. and do they normally come with the SS lines and fuel pressure regulator or what? I just don't hear much about them.. because they don't fit into the stock fuel rail right? at least the 440cc RX Racing (I think that's what they are called) don't fit if I remember correctly, I haven't really tried

Maybe this map is the updated version because I already have a solomap and its alot different.

I haven't tuned with 440's yet but man looking at the map...I'm having a hard time believing the AFR's are smooth. This map looks wacked...but hey, if he's making good power...who cares right.

I'm not in the city so much. more west. roughly 290/harlem

Speedaddiction20: Thge 440's we are talking about are out of a WRX. They are a direct bolt in swap. As far as fuel rails go I'm not greatly versed on this subject but the only so called high flow rail we had for the MSP is the Perrin, But it really isn't so high flow just more show.
Jaysanooch: that's the beauty about tuning. Each car is going to react and breath differently. Bill's map should help give you a start to build your own map. I highly doubt anyone is running his exact set-up. I think his configuration is quite unique.

^^ oh ok thanks, ya my brother has one but it's not a perrin so I assume it is custom fabbed or wasn't there a MAM one, but it is more of a rounded rail rather than the square rail, but anyways that's good to know, I will have to look around for a set of WRX injectors, thanks

I think MAM did have one, there happen to be more rare then my FMIC set-up LOL

I just threw in my 440's to try the map.

Didnt work out, once i hit boost car would just stumble on its face.

Mods are gt28rs and full bolt on

ya well the guy that original did it build the car up pretty good when that stuff started coming out at first, he has the MAM exhaust mani, and some FMIC kit, not sure which, might just be custom, but I figured if he had to MAM exhaust mani there might be a chance the high flow fuel rail would be MAM too, I'll have to try to look for some pics of it to find out I guess

That's your problem right there. The tune is for a stock turbo running 14 PSI.
how much boost are you running on the GT28RS?? You need a completely different set up. The Gt28RS runs a less CFM and pushes more power then the T25 on the MSP. I've half ass looked for a decent staring point tune for a low boost GT28RS with FMIC, but have yet to find one. Do you have a link to any or have you posted yours??

If you lone me your 28rs I'll throw a bad ass map up for that one too!! It's just a starting point guys. My car and climate are different then others. By the way my afr's are rock solid I'd throw my dyno up if I could. I'm just not as conservative as most. Also I cracked my ring landings doing slightly intoxicated stupid things that I do not condone. That's the reason anything ever even happend. The inside of my block was gorgeous the head gasket and bearings were beautiful! If you need any other info let me know.

I almost forgot a BIG thanks to Konrad for getting this up here! I've had a few ask and figured I would share.

lol borrow my turbo...How bout we switch cars for a week or so!!!!
I should be dropping my car off to Ken in about a week or two.
I need to get the AC back on, while it's there it's getting a thunder among other bits, and hopefully that 3" will be in.

Yeah that would be A LOT LESS work. lol
