Slipping clutch?

I have a 2000 es 5 speed. When I drive normally, I have no problems, however if I shift at higher rpm's the revs seem to drop very slowly until the next gear pick up. Does this mean that the clutch is wearing out, or is it something else?

Thanks

the most sure sign of a slipping clutch is when you are shifting, and the rpm shoots way up, inproportionate to the speed.

I'm not sure if this is what you're referring to

how slow exactly?

because my pro goes down in revs slowly too, it comes with the territory of a heavy oem flywheel.

there is a slight delay programed into the ecu, too, for emissions purposes
