hey anyone running skunk 2 coilover sleaves? i want to see a pic before i order them, how is the drop?? full coilovers is quite a bit more, just buildin on a budget.

prepare for a very harsh ride. if youve got your mind set on sleeves at least look at the ground controls

ground controls are pretty much just pricier versions of the skunk 2's
your not going to get a good ride out of sleeves either way so i would just get the skunk2's
i have ground control's but i got an amazing deal on them and i like them

the skunk2's also go alot lower then the GC's

ok i also have the clunk, will the rougher ride from the skunk 2's make it worse? or louder? and yes it is in the plans to be fixed. thanks for the replies everyone

its the bushings in the rear strut bar i believe?? the clunk fix bracket is in my future. and this question does not belong in this thread but are there two grey colors of the MSP? like gun metal and grey? or just one color?the car color

yea i think there is silver and then titanim grey

but if its just the sway bar bushings then no lowering the car more wont really effect that any

ok thanks, there is a guy doing a part out and i could not figure out if his car was the same color as mine, mine gleams and sparkles a bit more and that is in the titanium color in the paint, his is silver silver. no bueno

i had the same problem but seeing that the bushings were gone it kept making a loud squeeking noise, changed the bushings and it stopped squeeking n started making a loud thud... I also wanted 2 try the skunk 2 coilovers but i hadnt made up my mind on ordering them, from what i read there not that good...

i head there better than the k sports, the skunk 2 's wont break as easily when the spring in compressed, and when i say wear out easily, i mean like in a couple years they might wear out. i have just heard horror stories involving the k sports

yea but i mean ride wise like if it will bounce or how stiff i would b because roads in the cayman islands arnt the best in the world

i was told with any coil over sleave it will be a rougher ride, true coilovers are better for a smoother ride. but with any lowering suspension it is going to be rougher because less spring the car can use, depends on how compressed you have it set.

ok well i guess ill order um and c how it goes. Its either lowering the car or getting bigger rims

ok bro thanks. i was actually thinking of staying with the 17s becasue i found a set of Motegi DP6s in the gun metal but i was gunna paint um gold 2 keep the color scheme

depending on the tires your gonna have trouble slamming anything that is 8" wide

i guess you could just lower it 2 the point were the front tires deside 2 rub and and put it back up just enough 2 clear um
