PLEASE read what you wrote....and do the math....5 X 7....if they are 5 inches ONE way...and 7 inches the other way....HOW CAN THEY BE ROUND!!! come on!!
you need to be careful with the speaker depth...you only have 2 1/2 inches back clearance in the front doors....but you have 4 inches in the backs.
so put 5 X 7's in the front doors...and 6 or 6 1/2's in the rears.
yep they fit....he ask what the size of the speakers are in the doors....
the stockers ARE 5 X 7's.....yes 6 X 8's will fit...you will find that most decent ones have both screw patterns in them as 6 X 8's are common replacements for them.
the critical part of replacing speakers in your front doors is the back spacking...as the window rolls down behind the speaker....you can only squeeze a speaker with a back spacing of 2 1/2 inches in there....that is unless you put spacers under it to pull it out of the door some.
I have pioneer premier 6 1/2's in the front. They had to buy a special little rack to screw it in, no big deal, or you can even make the rack yourself. I like 6 1/2's better than the other sizes thats why i did it but they fit perfect.
