Sirius Radio and IPOD interface

Checked in with my local Mazda retailer today regarding installing a sirius unit to my stock HU. They want like 600 bucks to do this. They are telling me that they have to do it so it is all configured correctly. They are also saying that you have to choose between Sirius or IPOD, that you cannot have both.

Does anyone have experience installing Sirius with their stock system, mine is not Bose and does not have NAV. I've also heard about an interface from DICE that will allow installation of an IPOD with the Sirius, anyone with experience with this?

the install is pretty simple if you have any kind of know how on taking apart an interior.... the module cost 300 on ebay.

not shure about the ipod thing but I'm shure someone makes a kit.... or do the ipod thing and fm modulate the satelite radio for alot cheaper... 300 dolla is alot for satelite.. its like 150 for the best side by side module from xm and its color and you only lose a little audio clarity

thank you, I think I've about decided to buy a double din touch flat screen to replace the factory unit. If i do that, it will solve some of the other audio issues i have.
