Sirius in MS6

Last Friday I noticed I have water in my trunk. I think water is leaking between trunk lid and the seal on the top because antenna wire is located between trunk lid and seal. I had Sirius mounted by the dealer, not factory. It's been almost 2 years I have had this car and I did not notice anything before. Did anyone have this kind of issue? How are your Sirius radios installed? I will take a picture of mine today. Could anybody with factory installed Sirius post a picture of how it's done?
Thanks

I installed my Sirius myself, and followed the instructions exactly.

From the trunk mounted antenna the antenna wire is held under the trunk lid by adhesive clips. The antenna wire should go to the driver's side trunk hinge and then follow under the rear trunk seal (rubber) back around to the passenger side. It then goes under the passenger side rear tail light to the Sirius unit.

I've attached a pic that shows the route of the cable, so at least you'll know the installation was done correctly by the dealer. It may not be the same as factory though... (dunno)

The antenna cable is soo thin its not probable that its the cause of your leak...

It is not antenna cable itself, rather some textile/cloth piece that covers it and gets between seal and trunk lid. It just soaks with water and then water drops into the trunk. On Shagate's picture cable never gets into the trunk, in my car cable goes under trunk lid trim. It is not like on Shagate's picture. On attached picture (sorry for quality :) - it's open lid view :) ) red color shows how it is done, and green how it should be done (I saw factory installation done like this). Orange rectangle is the textile I'm talking about. Anyway, my car is at the dealership so I hope they will fix it.

Just to be clear, the cable should be tucked under the rubber gasket of the trunk. There is no gasket on the top, so the cable is held in place by metal clamps with adhesive backing. I'm not aware of any cloth piece, and VRMS6 is correct in stating the cable is extremely thin and unlikely to be the cause. More likely it's something used in the installation that's preventing a good seal (like you suggested, the cloth my be acting as a wick for the water?).

Hope it gets fixed! Good luck!
