One of the RoRos that transports Mazdas from Hiroshima to the west coast suffered a catastrophic fire on New Year's Eve (the same day I took delivery of my Signature that was aboard in December).

No Mazdas were affected, as the ship was carrying Nissans to Hawaii.
Unfortunately some of the crew is missing and some were killed.
I'm saddened to know that a few crew members who safely delivered my car to U.S. shores are no longer with us. (sad2)
