one of the goons that came into Brittany Murphy's apartment with Del Toro had a swastika on his forehead...and one of the henchmen from the guy with the gold eye had a red Nazi arm band, and it stood out like Dwight's shoes...
Also, the guy who got arrow'd had a swastika on his head.

Yeah this was definitely one of the best movies I've seen what I don't get is who was the guy in the beginnig and the guy toward the end. The guy that was being played by josh hartnett.

yeah and co-directed by Frank Miller...with Tarantino as a "guest director"...
DO NOT READ THIS PART IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE FILM YET!!!
Josh Hartnett was a hit-man...the comic book would always had a story or two with just a hit-man disguised and killing someone...with the 3 acts being the main part of the film, Tarantino said Miller wanted it to just start and end...The point was to make it just like the comic...its starts witha pointless story about a hit-man, that story ends, and it goes to the next story...he wanted to end it the same way, except with more of a tie in earlier parts of the film...

IMO its an easy movie to think there is more going on than what there really is...a lot of my friends kept thinking that each seperate story had more to do with each other than what I did...they were just three people's experiences happening at nearly the same time in the same city...thats all...

Thanks for clearing it up, the women in this movie were so hot and acted very well.

another nazi referance was the name of the guy who got shot with the arrow, his name was stooka, which was a nick name for one of the german WWII dive bombers. Sweet movie...

i saw it last ngiht and loved it, i thought it was directed well. the whole color scheme was good. the camera angles was good, to me it appeared like a comic book would be and i loved that since its based on a comic book. awesome movie i give this movies titties 4 thumbs way ******* up.

just got back from watching it. omg really cool movie. the best character was the cannibal. the guy from lord of the rings. damn, he was so ******* pimp. the ending was cool too.

Hands down, the best movie we have seen in a helluva long time. One of the things that made it look so cool was it was shot with HD cameras. Go to imdb.com and look it up for some cool trivia. I left the theater with these images stamped in my head, damn it was good. I can't wait for them to come out with more, and if they don't then that's a crying shame.

Oh, did anyone else notice Elijah Wood's character had a Charlie Brown looking sweater on? :p Good God, that farm was evil. *shudder*

Rodriguez did his last couple movies with HD tape. Works great, makes the post production much quicker. "Once upon a Time in Mexico" had a bunch of cool info on the DVD about HD.

I got annoyed with the voiceovers that were trying too hard to sound rough and deep IMO.

yeah I know what you mean...and the overly dramatic female lines too...

but it was true to the comic...You read the exact same corny lines in the books, that are seperate from the dialogue of the conversation or whatever is really going on...

I liked that part, and disliked it at the same time if you know what I mean...

yeah but those corny lines are what "film noir" is all about...like think about every corny film noir detective story w/ the sexy dame seducing/crying to the detective that she needs his help...you know you're gonna get cheesy dialogue, thats half the fun

I'm not necessarily talking about the corny lines, just the low scratchy voices didn't sound natural, kinda strained.

Reminded me of duke nukem 3d, kinda comical in that sense. It was a comic, so maybe that's waht they were going for I don't know.
