Simple question...

Ordering a winter wheel for the MS3, it states that the factory TPMS senor is required.

I was under the impression that the ms3 didn't have it??

Does it?

yes, we have TPMS sensors in our wheels. it's not that it's REQUIRED, but the car will definitely light up a TPMS warning on the dash if you don't have the sensor in your wheel. from what i understand, if you're missing the TPMS sensors, it will merely flash the light...if you actually had a TPMS pressure warning because a wheel was below 27psi, it would beep at you in addition to lighting up the warrning.

Is their anyway to just turn the damned thing off with out pulling the fuse. Mine goes on and off all the time. The temperature has been all over the place the past few days, so in the morning when its 50, it comes on, but on my way home in the afternoon, its off. I understand that it is supposedly mandated because the average mongloid that buys a car these days doesn't have the capacity or brain power to look at a wheel and say "hmmm, that looks low". But seriously, its starting to get annoying.

Tires can be low on air, and not show it at all. These low profile tires we have dont' show it like older high profile tires did. By the time you could sense a change in handling, or you could go out of the car and look at it, you'd be ******.

Believe me, I praise those sensors. Driving down the road at 80+, if you hear one, you better react! If you hear one before you even drive off, again it is useful.

Set your tires at 34psi all around COLD, and you should be fine.
