Silver trim (on side of center console) scratches VERY easily- I'm not very happy!

I absolutely love my 2012 CX-9 GT FWD and it has met or exceeded all my expectations so far!

But the first cosmetic "blemish" on a new car is always painful! (cryhard) It usually occurs on the exterior, but mine is on the interior. The silver trim that runs from the length of the center console is very easily damaged, or so it seems. Mine has several nasty scratches on the passenger side. I'm guessing it's where the seat belt buckle has scraped it while being buckled?

Any suggestions on how to touch-up or repair these scratches? I'm sure these won't be the last....

We had it replaced under warranty on our 2008 a few years ago. I believe there is a TSB out there for it.

Yeah there was a tab for that. I had mine replaced under warranty. Unfortunately its still no match for my wife's purse hardware. Its a matter of caring for ones car. My wife isn't careful with stuff like that. If it was just me, there would be no scratches despite the easiness of how it scratches
