well I got my rental car today, a new lancer I really miss and realize just how fast my car was. my insurance is actually going to warranty all the repairs for the life of the vehicle, so I may have a warrantied FMIC, bov, and FPR...IF it's not concluded as a total loss. They also asked me a lot of questions about the driver of the truck and the kid in the back. I'm going to call the kids parents tonight and put some fear in em, hopefully get them to give me some sort of settlement money to cover the cost of my insurance increase since I could sue the pants off em.
I'll keep ya filled in, and btw: if your car gets messed up in the NC area, al smith mazda has a body shop

Someone hit my car with an egg from a moving car (mine was moving also) and it did some pretty good paint damage. Al Smith's body shop quoted me almost 1.5x more than where I ended up having the work done. Shop around if you can because places really vary in price and quality. Also the shop that did my work had the work done in less than 1 week. If you are interested I will dig up the info on the shop.

Just because a dealer has a body shop doesn't make it a good body shop. Choose your body shop carefully, it makes a world of difference.

I wouldn't blame it on FWD. If you can't control an MSP through a dicey situation, you probably can't control anything through it. There aren't many cars that handle better.

Awwww that's awful! I have accidently loogied on my own car while driving at high speeds....but it's my loogie ya know? Not as bad. Some prick bastard did kick my driver side mirror off one night and it has been super glued back on until Mazda can get the damn part in. Who kicks a car for no reason?

Had the mirror kicked off my SVT once, cost me about $300 by the time I had the thing painted up and installed. Sucked. A-holes kicked the passenger mirror off every car on the street, probably 20 of them. Passenger front tire slashed one other time, along with about 5 other cars. Glad I don't live in Boston anymore!

They did a great job with the blending on my car and matching the black mica. I don't know about rebuiding mechanical parts but I can assure you they did a very good job on my body work.

i don't think that's the way it woudl go down...unless he was in a school area going 40 then swerving to miss a flying object that could potentially cause some kind of accident. i hope this gets worked out. i'd ******* beat that b**** w/ a bat and disconnect the driver's brakes or piss in the guy's truck bed or leave a dead rat in the cabin.

can you guys tell that it pisses me off when someone that has no problems with anyone get into so much s*** just because they're moronic assholes ?
