*sigh* another msp dead 
so Im going out to lunch with my girlfriend and returning her to her highschool, there are some kids in the bed of the truck in front of me i didn't exactly get along with when I went to school there. so Im going 40 or so behind the truck, no big deal. one decides to spit a huge loogie towards my car. being as anal and overprotective of my car as I am, I try to dodge it, and all hell breaks loose. I move slightly to the right in my lane, not noticing a huge pile of leaves. my car loses any glimpse of traction and I get loose. since Im not very good with FWD, I probably made it worse, and ended up in a telephone pole at 25mph or so. both airbags deployed, crushed in hood, busted headlights and grill, bashed radiator, intercooler, probably the tubing (the car kept stalling out when trying to move it) and the cross member behind the bumper is FUBAR. the tow truck driver said airbags run about $3000 a pair and that since I had structural damage it was probably totalled. any advice or hookups for parts would be great. the officer didn't hold the kid liable because it was basically his word vs mine, and he claimed to have just been spitting...:mad: this is the 2nd time I've really suffered due to my inability to control a FWD in an emergency, so I may just get a 1st gen eclipse, pay my (est now $3400/6 mos) insurance and pay for an apartment
btw: if I do end up getting rid of the car, I have a starion FMIC, gtech, escort passport 8500, and cigarette lighter adapter for sale

I really miss and realize just how fast my car was. my insurance is actually going to warranty all the repairs for the life of the vehicle, so I may have a warrantied FMIC, bov, and FPR...IF it's not concluded as a total loss. They also asked me a lot of questions about the driver of the truck and the kid in the back. I'm going to call the kids parents tonight and put some fear in em, hopefully get them to give me some sort of settlement money to cover the cost of my insurance increase since I could sue the pants off em.
