Its not the bandwidth, its the fact that it appears on every one of your posts on a page (4 times on this page for example) and slows down my webbrowser.

if my animated gif (which is 55kb and only 4 frames) or Razor's flash sig (which is the same size as the average sig jpeg anyway) slow's down your webbrowser your PC must be a turd.

i'm sure you're well aware that you can disable viewing the sigs in your user control panel. that should get your webbrowser right back up to speed.

yours is fine, Razor's is fine, but someone's sig (can't remember who's) does not get along with my work computer, a 1.4GHz Dell. Its prolly the video card on my work computer more than the processor though.

Anyway, as I posted on Razor's poll thread, I had bad visions of some flashy flash animation and stuff like that gets anoying. I like seeing people's sigs (it helps me identify them when I'm scrolling quickly) but sometimes they are just too over the edge and take away from the flow of the thread.

i too worried when i first heard about a flash sig.. thinking it would have sound and a lot more, but i have to admit, i like what Razor came up with,.. and of course he kept it sweet but simple in respect of everyone else I'm sure..

thanks for the support...the file size is now reduced to 57k for the same sig

i think you are thinking of dr sounds animated gif...it bogs my comptuer down for some reason also...
