Side Marker Tint

So wait would the ebay led lights connect correctly or would I need to do some wiring work? And wow I didn't think the side markers would come off that easily

They use a base where you insert the bulb and twist, as opposed to ours which used a plug. I tried looking for some like ours but haven't found any. Honestly the sleeves are the best bet, they are cheap and will last forever. I'm just trying to figure out whether or not I will be harassed by police because the lights are red.

I mean I see cars with red turn signals all of the time, it's not really something they'd regularly pull you over for, it's like like it's blue or pink any kind of crazy color. Plus yeah the sleeve could work, I'd imagine there to be some kind of adapter between the twist and plugs though?

To the best of my knowledge the only legal color for turn signals are white/amber for front and red/amber for rear.

OMG no you didnt???(loser)

Didn't what? Try to let the OP know that if he uses red for the front he will more than likely have a run-in with Johnny Law. (squinty)

I've never seen someone with white blinkers on the front of their car b4 o_o

I've seen plenty of Honda's in my area using white and blue for both front and rear signals. White in the rear is annoying as hell.

Yeah, but I don't want my car to look ricey like most hondas. But would the red give it that kind of appearance? And also, I'm guessing that I wont be able to pass inspection with blacked out side markers correct?

As far as red, I would stay away from it for the front....I'm 100% sure you'd get harrassed by cops. You could always upgrade the fronts to Silverstar (which I have and light amber) or some amber led's.

As for the side markers you should be ok. I have my bumper markers tinted with nite shades and have had no issues with inspection for the last three years. For the side markers, just do a couple of LIGHT coats and be sure to give them a clear coat as mentioned earlier.

In Cali, red lights used anywhere else other than on the rear, are reserved for emergency vehicles only. You can get a fix-it ticket, or a ticket for impersonating an emergency vehicle. I have gotten both.

like 4 coats of nightshades, look black but still reflect during the day and still very visible at night

So how did you guys remove the side markers? I tried sliding it back then pulling it towards me, and still nothing. It does move slightly back but not enough to remove it it seems.

I tried it the other day. You gotta pull it towards the back of the car. then the front part comes off. Then ur gunna have to giggle the back a little it's more of a clip

those came out really well. I'm gunna do mine soon. I stopped by pepboys autozone and napa couldn't find any of that niteshade anywhere

Really? That's weird. It's VHT Nightshades. I found some at advance auto parts. Don't know if there's any of those around ya.

there is also the Celica markers to keep JUST IN CASE you get bothered by the police, you still have the orange ones to fix the "fix-it" tickets
