lol.. i get what you are saying and i sort of want to do the same thing.
Except that i dont want a white light since i agree is distracting.
I wanted to get the white mica and change it to either a clear one (so can see the yellow bulb) or preferably a clear smoked one since thats the look i have on the rest of my lights.
I havent tried taking it out but i think it should be possible since i know a lot of VW guys do it on the Golfs.
Oh well, i dont think there was a need to be so negative but sometimes you will get responses like that.
