side exhaust out front bumper

track only car so looking at custom side exhaust - cut down on weight and cheaper to go out the side, in front of the passenger tire. im thinking use stock downpipe to first bolt on location and then 90 into flex into a 3" moroso spiral muffler.
id skip the muffler but worried i might hit db levels at some tracks. anyone running a side exhaust?

Moroso spiral mufflers are made out of mild steel, they rust really really fast.

was thinking about that at lunch. they do have stainless ones for about $100. steel was $30.. looks like a $200 project

anyone that can take a pict of the S pipe exit ? trying to confirm it will go into 3 " diameter pipe with out much modification - i am figuring on a custom flange to 3" pipe/elbow.

just found out rules do not allow it. 'exhaust must exit behind and away from driver'.

I would stay away from the spiral flows anyway, my rx7 chewed up a pair of them in about a month.

Just make it dump right after the seats toward the ground. Its after and away from the driver....
