This is the sickest RX8 I've ever heard or seen.

Is something similar to this possible in a streetable application? Doesn't it sound like he could push 10,000rpm+? Shiiiiiieeeeeez.

PS - Sorry if this has already been discussed here. I'm just looking into the potential with a car like this.

You know, I still have to get past that "sick" thing. To me, that means it's ill while you think the opposite. I looked at the other videos of the FCs, as well. Neat stuff. I can see why the engines don't last too long, either.

well, ill also means the same thing as sick. both words, however mean totally different than you would think.

a 3 rotor with a lightened flywheel and couterweight should be able to push 10k without any real issues. there is a drag car with a 4 rotor, twin turbo that is just awesome. it runs in the 6's i think.

Haha. Sorry. I suppose I'm growing out of the boy-talk phase myself...but things like this seem to make me digress in ways I never thought possible. Makes me want to put posters on my wall again.

Holy crap! I need to see that beast.

Yeah, those sound wild, to me. Some of those cars are really impressive. it would be nice to see more than two rotor engines, here. However, with the poor gas mileage of the two rotor, I'm not sure we could afford to drive one with an extra rotor. I guess we'll just have to leave them to the racing group. They are neat, though.

So if you have a 3 rotor you proportionately decrease the mileage? I mean it makes sense to me but I figured there would be some kind of magic to prevent it from going down that much more. Poopy.

One word, SPEEDSOURCE! Hearing and seeing those cars live is just amazing. I posted many photos and vids.

Or Dempsey Racing(used to be Hypersport)...same car...but the team is Atlanta Based, hence it is better...and i was on that team, so it makes it even better

HA! And FXDD is a major sponsor!

Sorry, it's just this is what I do for a living (FX Trading, not auto racing) and it doesn't surprise me FXDD of all corporations has a race car.
