Sick of shaving

Alright. I'm sick of this bulls***. I shave every 2-3 days because I go against the grain for ultra-smooth shaves. Any less of an interval and its a gusher. I use a Mach 3. My face is ridiculous. I'll never want to grow any kind of facial hair, because its a bunch of dumb looking patches. I also have a small patch of chest hair that looks stupid.

Has anyone tried Epil Stop or Nair for the face or anything? I haven't found any favorable reviews. Any other products? Seems like they either cause chemical burns to a lot of people, or do absolutely nothing.

yeah shaving is a b**** but it must be done .....and no i havent tried those products...i like the mach 3 turbo

Nair BLAHHH Epil Stop BLAHH BLAHH none of that stuff works (im a lady) the only reall effect way to stop hair growing is.. Laser or electrolysis ... But another option less expensive is waxing. But in the long end the cost adds up the same as the permanent ways

Laser treatments; After enough, your hair won't grow back, and it will be finer. One of my ex's had it done, and has a perfectly smooth face. It was nice. Other than that, try waxing; It's pretty quick, and lasts longer than shaving, but won't work properly on your face, generally.

Yeah, i was thinking about laser hair removal on my face the other day, What sucks about my face and about 89% of african americans is that we have in grown hairs that we have to pluck out before shaving...

must be painful.... :(

Have to shave daily, and it's a pain in the ass. I would grow a beard, but I'm blonde, and blonde facial hair just doesn't look right.

Yes; Ow, just ow. =) Waxing of your face would hurt like hell.

On another note, to avoid ingrown hairs, especially with African American skin and hair, use either a single blade razor, or a razor specifically to avoid ingrown hairs (Yes, they make them) and only make one pass on any part of your skin. This stops ingrown hairs by not cutting them short enough to allow them to curl back into the skin. Often, they are caused by cutting too close to the skin, therefor making the hair start to curl inward, and up under the skin. Hence the term ingrown. =)
