Shudder/vibration when accelerating from stop

I have a 2014 FWD Touring with about 12,500 miles. Just had the second oil change and tire rotation by the dealer a couple weeks ago. This morning on the way to work, as I was pulling away from a stoplight the entire vehicle seemed to momentarily shudder or vibrate as I was accelerating from stop. I immediately let off the gas and the shudder stopped. There was no further vibration or anything out of the ordinary once I got up to speed. Same thing happened at the next stop light, this time I noticed the traction light on the dash briefly flickered during the shudder, so presumably the shudder is related to the traction control system?. The pavement was a bit damp from a light rain yesterday but there was no standing water, and I've certainly driven in worse road conditions recently without experiencing any kind of traction issues. Not sure whether I need to let the dealer check it out, anyone have a similar issue??

No problems like that on my CX5, but sometimes vibrations when accelerating from a stop indicate a bad/broken motor mount.

What was the temp when this happened? I see you are in AL and I know you are having record cold. Perhaps you had ice and didn't know it because you've not driven on it before? (yes)

With FWD traction control when one wheel slips the brake on that wheel is engaged to bring its speed down to match the non slipping wheel and add torque to the non slipping wheel. It is likely you are feeling the brake engage on the slipping wheel. If it did it on dry clean pavement it would be more concerning. Sometimes with a light rain or even "sweat" the water brings to the surface oil which makes the pavement slick and the tire is more likely to slip under acceleration.

Could be just cold stiff rubber on a slippery road. I'd keep an eye on it though, if it easily repeats itself.
