Ironice that this thread resurfaces right when I finished mine. Okay, so it isn't on my car yet but I am doing some work on it right now and I don't want to screw it up. Sandblasted, powdercoated red and clearcoated:

I know it looks a little orange but I assure you it is almost a perfect match for classic red. Sorry for the blurry pic... my arms are tired from all the sanding to get the letters to stand out...

It's called an Aero intake, I found it off Ebay late 2004 and I have only seen one other since

I painted my valve cover black with a blue mica then polished the letters and clear coated it several times. Its the same paint that is on my hood, roof, wing and rims. Then I traded my red p5 strut bar for a silver MSP strut bar and painted the center body color.

I blew a heater hose and sprayed antifreeze all over so excuse the mess in the picture.

My Jet-Hot coated OBX now has the same patina as your header - you can see where the hot-spots are. Prescott is a beautiful place - right up there with Sedona (first)
