Show off your 18s!

Come spring I am planning on getting new rims and tires and I am thinking of going with 18s. So if you got 'em, post here - any rubbing probs? Is the ride too stiff?

Show me pics - Convince me!

Post away!

Where in TO do you live.

I'm in Pembroke/Pet just about 3 Hours North.

Let me know if you want any help tuning your ride. I'd be happy to assist anyone with a Mazda. I love them because the bolt on's are harder to get. No offence to the Honda guys but if I went around just bolting on parts and kits I wouldn't be as proud to pop the hood.

Check out the Att...

CHROME!!

i was going to get a set of enkeis but their offsets are what made me change my mind

I Love the Chrome man. I went silver cause it matches the colors on the outside of the car. White Paint with silver decals, tint, rims, and brakes. It's clean and I wanted to make the car still look a bit somber and well not French looking. To all thoes who don't know what I'm talking about... The Home made wooden wing, The Bondo Body kit. Green paint with red and yellow stripes. Painted Hub Caps... Etc...

Sorry Frenchies

thanks b, not used to getting compliments from other forum members as most are anti-chrome. i think they are very tasteful and not to over the top, plus there is always somebody checking them out at a stop light. i'm going to be getting a set of volk racing gt-ns next year so maybe that will please the "haters"

Hey Sedan Man. Don't get your panties in a bunch, If your car doesn't look like that, you have nothing to worry about. If it does, well I rest my case.

I was born in Pointe Claire dummie, you know about the "French Car Phenomenon"

How do you like you REV wheels so far? How long you had them and did you get them from speed&style.com?

Looks badass! (evil)

azeli73 I like my rev wheels espically in the gold. The picture doesn't do the wheels justice at all. I've had my rev wheels for about two months now. I pick them up on another group buy on another forum.

Re: Re: Show off your 18s!

I'm just north of TO - Markham.

I saw your setup in the FI section. Pretty damn impressive I must say. I've actually been considering turbo myself for quite some time. My concerns are the usual - longevity and $$$. Where do you have tuning experience from? I agree - a custom setup is way more impressive.

Longevity isn't the problem as long as everything works well to keep up with the boost IE Air/Fuel, No Detonation.

A good place to start for you would be " Maximum Boost " By Corkey Bell. Chapters in TO should be able to get it in less than a week and at $30 CDN it's a steal. I'll buddie you on my list. I'm in Bosnia now till May. I'll keep in touch and If I'm in the area we can hook up and I'll show you the Beast if you like.

I would call that bad taste. It's not limited to French people's cars.

Yeah I picked it up a month ago, I've got through about a quarter - at times I can't put it down.

I would love to see 'the beast'. Let me know when you're back and we'll meet up - thanks man.

Perhaps Not, However...Unfortunately where I live in Ontario is raveged with cars that are littered with silly stripes, wings, and in general, some bad combinations of colors. I agree that it is not limited to French Canadians, but all the cars we make fun of, have quebec plates. I wasn't slammin your heritage, I was just making a point based on what I have seen my whole life before I moved to Ontario. No Hard feelings man, it's really meaningless.
