well?

if you often park in parking lots, i'd say no. your car is looking good, by the way. makes me want to spend some money on mine.

i dont know how to vote...

it took me forever to remove them and my paint is really ugly on some parts where it was removed. its notTHATt noticable... but still... if u are confident, then do it. looks nice, but everything shows on a black car if u screw up. so, sorry dude, i dont have a yes or no answer, just good luck in your choice - chris

its not hard to do at all if thats what youre worried about.. but like someone else said.. if you park next to people Id leave em on... I took mine off and it looks so much cleaner..

With most of the Texas population being soccer moms in SUV's or guys in large pickup trucks, he is screwed even if he has the door moldings on there. I took mine off and I have always chose my parking spots carefully.

hahaha true

every door ding I have had has been on the beltline near the door handles. Never had anything that low. I am planning on removing mine.

yes, you can see my pic in my sig. we took some welding wire and ripped the molding right off. then took what they call and adhesive eraser on a drill and got the glue off then buffed the car and it looks so much cleaner.

here is another pic of mine with no side molding

Most definately do it. It looks much much cleaner and is something anybody can do. Just make sure you have the patience to sit their and scrub the glue off. Here is a before and after of mine. I have also removed the dx decal since that list pic was taken.

it took me about 30 minutes from start to finish. i had help from a buddy of mine that works at a body shop. it literally took less then 10 minutes to pull the molding off and about 20 with the eraser to get the glue off

It took just a few minutes to remove the molding, but for me it took a couple of hours to get the glue off. I guess because my car is a few years old and it had stuck on their real good.

did you use a drill and the eraser? it would have taken me forever without it.

I just peeled the molding off with my hands. And scrubbed the glue with a rag and an adhesive remover I bought from Wal Mart.

i think you shouldn't remove it if you often park next to ppl's car, i just find out yesterday i got a big door dent and it is about 10" from top to bottom on beltline near the door handles to my molding, uh~~~~~~~~~i just don't understand how ppl drive and park with careless. SAD`
