I called the dealership and talked to a sales guy named Todd Crabtree he admitted it was a lemon, but he sated that Mazda toild them it was becuase of customer dissastifaction. I then asked him to explain what all of the service entry were on the CarFax report. He said to call back tomorrow and talk to Joe Lee I believe a manager of some sorts.
i'm puzzled if this was a simple buyback then why was it reported as a Lemon? Normally buybacks just show as a used vehicle and not a lemon. Somebody had to report it has a lemon and that normally means they had recurring problems to the point the delaership agreed to buy it back. From what I can tell dealers will fight tooth and nail to avoid a lemon buyback and it's rare they consumer wins unless they can really prove the car to be a lemon.
I would ask for as much documentation on this car and have them agree to put everything in writing about any statement they make about this car.
