should I get a MS3 or not?

Hey guys, I need some input. I currently own a 2002 protege 5. the car has been good to me but it needs more power and i dont like the light grey part of the interior. it will be paid off this spring and i am thinking of trading it in on a MS3, or keeping it and adding a turbo. what are your thoughts. It will be used as a daily driver, and in the winter take me to the ski hill. thanks for your help

If you have low miles on the p5 i'd say just keep it for now. You will have just paid off your car and hence have no more payments. That will be an extra couple hundred bucks in your pocket every month or even more.

I peronally like the looks of the p5 better than even the ms3. Have you thought about an ms6 at all? There may even be some 2006 models still brand new this spring that haven't been sold and will be discounted like mad. Right now you can get an ms6 for about the same price or even cheaper than a speed3. Plus the ms6 is awd which would be perfect for your ski trips. Don't expect many incentives on the speed3 because the 3 sells so damn well itself. The ms6 is just more car for even less cash.

I have an 03 protege sedan and I too want more power. I have looked alot at turbos. I have decided against it because of the cost and having to upgrade other stock parts to handle the power.

If you still want to do turbo, I highly recommend hiboost.com. They now have broadened their market but a few years ago they only made turbo kits for proteges, so basically they must have the best kit.
