Should I Be Worried?

Here's the story: got my oil changed last Tuesday, the techs told me that I was leaking transaxle fluid. Take the car to the dealership the next day. Took more than one day to get the parts and fix, meanwhile I was out of town, got my car this morning.

I wish I could quote you the repair order directly, but left it in my car. Bottom line, three different seals/gaskets had failed between my transaxle/transfer case and rear diff. I am no mechanic by any stretch so I wont pretend to understand exactly what happened. But having three different seals fail in what would be considered normal driving for me is a little disconcerting.

No accidents, no offroading, no hitting road debris, nothing. Just normal driving. Nobody drives the car but me. That cannot be normal or common. Dont know how long it had been leaking, but could there be any permanent damage done? I hadnt noticed any changes in shifting or driving.

IIRC there are no physical gaskets between the cases, only a liquid sealant. There have been several reports of trans leaks, so if they actually fixed them AND refilled the lube, then you're fine. Just make sure the lube is at the correct level.
