Short shifters

TWM is all I've found...."says" easy install....I'm looking into making the investment soon-but not yet. Keep me posted?

Put a TWM on mine and, yeah, it was pretty easy. Some people have said their install took 30 or 40 minutes. I really took my time, not wanting to scratch or break anything, and it took me about 2hrs. There's one part that is kind of hard, removing the old shifter from a plastic cradle, if you're doing it by yourself. Involves depressing 3 tabs at once to remove shifter. Probably could have saved 10 or 15 minutes on that alone if I had a helper.

The kit dropped the shifter knob(stock) about an inch and probably decreased the throws by 30 or 40%. Requires a bit more firmness putting it in gear, but well worth it in my opinion. A heavier shift knob would probably be a useful addition. All in all, the kit seems very well made and included concise instructions. Tho' it does feel a bit weird tearing the whole center console apart in a new car. Just take your time and pay attention to how it comes apart.
