my shifter-shifter linkage bolt came out while i was driving. so i got stock in second gear. luckly i wasnt far from my home and managed to drive a few miles in second gear. now can someone plz send me a picture and the part number and the size for that bolt? i went to the dealership and it didnt show up in there computer, they said i had to buy the whole shifter leveler for 290 bucks(jerkit) .

if i remember correctly, most any bolt of the right size should do.
it looked pretty standard to me

not really cuz if u look at it the hole on the linkage is not the same size on both sides

some pix of the bolt . i know there blurry but its not my cam and i didnt play with the settings ... is this how ur bolt looks like ???

i appreciate the reply. i have a nut on the other side of the bolt. its a locking nut. looks like the ones used to hold the fog lights to the bumper. so thats how ur bolt looks like ? the end sticks out like that ?

No mine doesnt, it fits flush against the linkage. in between the linkage are 2 green plastic bushings. Looks like your missing one. If you can take a clearer pic I could help you more.

I have pics from 2 years back when I put in my short shifter I don't know if it will help plus I have a P5. It was an old camera so thats the biggest picture I have.
