Shifter linkage

I went to change my shifter yesterday and it ends up being that my shifter linkage bar broke.

that's how it looks like, I already ordered the new bar, but in confused if I'm suppose to remove the blue part you guys see. I'm having trouble taking it off... Would the new bar come with this already ?

That looks aftermarket, maybe B&M. Not sure though, ive never had one.

I can't get the blue housing off. I ordered new shifter linkage bars, but I'm not sure if they will come with that house for the shifter pivot
