shifter illumination/Sport mode

Hey,
I was working on my sport mode shifter last night. And realized that I could illuminate the side of the shifter plate that has the minus and plus sign on it. I could splice into the socket/wiring that lights up the park, reverse, neutral and drive side. Is there anybody out there that has done this? Got any suggestions, seems like it would be very easy.
Let me know

I did mine with blue leds it took a bit of time to get it to illuminate evenly. Under the + - there is like a grid you it work best if you use a dremel to hollow out that area and put the light. It looks real nice at night.

Where did you get the wires, sockets, bulbs etc? I'm trying to get the exact harness from the dealer that lites the p,r,n,d side. Then splice and dremel it out and attach it that way. I'm really trying to get the same color, to be consistent throughout the car.
Maybe, I'm anal about my (2) pro's but at least they are very clean and trick cars.

I've 2 P fives now and my daughter will be getting one next year. I just need to have the trickest one, outta the three. See ya in Hilo, I'll be there on Vacation in June for 4 days. I'll be checkin out the scene, looking around.
Be in Maui for 2 weeks after that.
Maybe I can get one as a rental, that way i can tear up the road to Hana on Maui.

You can just use two superbright red leds, cut the wires from the stock light and join the two leds to that and you will have the same color

more info

Can you give more info and specfics about where you got the socket, light and wiring. I'm going to do white bulb to match the other side. Send any info that you might have.
Thanks
