shifter creaking

ok so here is the deal, my kartboy ss, bushings and redline oil were all put in about the same time ( i have had them for a few thousand miles)

recently i have been noticeing my shifter making a strange creaking noise while i accelerate, it is intermitend and doesn't sound horrible but it is really annoying and i can't figure out what it is

any ideas?

it might be the bushings. i hear that erothane (forgive my bad spelling) bushings make noise.

Same problem with the same setup. I thought maybe I didn't put enough silicone lubricant on it.

if its quiet and i dont have music on i can hear a rubbing noise with the shifter when i move it around. its prolly the bushings so i didnt get it any thought.

mine dosent creak but it rattles sometimes in reverse
and 1st gear
