Shift boot/Shift Knob mod

Just got this yesterday.... the shift boot is a pain to mod (really hard to make it fit).

anyways, do u guys like it? I have two shift knob which one do u think is better???

IMO the bottom pic (orange boot and orange knob) is too busy. Go with the top combo it looks more tasteful.

I have decided; after some deliberation, I well stick with the stock Sparco shift knob. Simplicity, at it's best. Yes folks; MAZDASPEED - the perfectly balanced small sedan.

I don't know if you guys think the same or not... but I think the shifter is not 'short' at all. I think the MSP comes with the short shifter, but it still seems the throw is still long for a short shifter. what do u guys think?

is it the shaft being shorten or it is actually a short shifter??? otherwise I would like to install the aftermarket one on it....


it would be cool if we have those like on the miata...... you can shift tremendously fast!..... just using your wrist only!!! on the MSP I don't think we can....


any thoughts?

ps: thanks for the input on the knobs..... I think I'll just swap them away between seasons... hehehe..... since I just couldn't figure out which one to stick with.....
