Do you mean take the roof rack parts off completely making it just like the Canadian/03.5 models?

If so, go for it ... just did mine and it was EASY.

i mean takin off the roof rack completely and then welding metal in the gap so its completely smooth... what do u people think...

Be carefull on cars like ours --- at times those channels are there for a reason ( and not just for water ). On my bf's 99 Cougar he was going to do the same thing but we found out it was a "flex" point of the car and if it were filled it ran the chances of cracking.

did you do this your self or have a body shop do it i was going to weld mine shut also but didnt know if it would cause any problems. is it a piece of metal or is it just some type of filler?

ahhh i see they did it in sections i was going to have one piece laser cut then weld it in. is spicy yellow a real color for the msp if so what is the paint code? if you have more pics post them i think the car looks awsome with out the roof rack on ,glade someone did this before i did so i can see how it looks.

my cars in the shop right now... shave the last door handle, fix the shaved latch, eyelids attached to the hood, shave the antenna, shave the roof molding like ToLows...
