shaven cyl head?

has anyone shaven the 2.0L protege cyl head?
if so, is it worth the cost? (my friends dad has a machine shop that will shave the head for $75 and port and polish it for another 50-75)
noticable hp gains? or more problems?
im doing my homework this time...

depending on how much u shave it, it will but up ur compression ratio. $150 to shave a head and port and polish is pretty cheap

with an overhead cam engine, shaving the head is not a very good way to bump compression because you can change your cam timing. get high compression pistons instead
