Seriously, how hard is it?

How hard is it to install an alarm in my mp3 myself. Remote start etc. I am pretty handy and think i can do it, I just dont want to get my self in over my head. Thanks

an alarm is 7 wires, two go to battery, and two go to door locks...i dunno the rest...good luck,.. other than that, have fun!...sorry.

Your going to need to use relays for the keyless entry and the parking lights but it also depends on what type of alarm you are putting in

Alarms aren't impossible but can be tricky and an alarm is only as good as it's install. Also an alarm is not the place to "go for a cheaper price". Get a quality alarm and check into getting it installed by a professional shop just to see how much it might run you in case you aren't to sure if you want to dive into it.
