SENNA Documentary meet

Hey Princess Peaches, (LOL) do you want to update the first post with the address (Sept 24th) and start a name list? Just to keep things organized and whatnot.

Thanks, Peaches. Do you want to bring over whatever file(s) tomorrow to upload to my laptop? Just to make sure everything works. I don't know technology...

Way to be a party pooper, Rachelle. Haha! I keed, I keed... I think I'll still go up there and see it though. But it will be fun to watch it outside with the Mazda peeps too. Oh, and what are we going to do about speakers?

Wes and Pablo, you guys are silly.

Just watched the ~2:40hr version (original) this afternoon with my track going buddies. The current version in select theaters in the US is ~1:40hrs. long and has a lot of the interviews cut out. If you have the .avi version that is 104 minutes, you're missing out on quality and substance. The longer version is worth the extra watch time. It is completely captivating and the time flies by. There is a 720p and a higher res versoin of the longer one out there (.mkv format and h.264 encoded with subs). You won't be disappointed and the quality is higher than any of the .avi formats i've come across.

Enjoy. The movie gave me chills and all of us got a bit choked up. Senna was as pure of a "racing driver" as there could have been and probably ever will be. This docu. does a fantastic job of expressing this. Absolutely riveting!
