Well, if you only owe 5k and the financing is good I can't think of a reason not to keep it unless you have new needs like more room or something. A Protege5 is decent and it is probably one of the cheapest mayments you'll ever have. Seems like the smart decision financially to keep the P5 although I don't know your situation.

my car handles wonderfully in the cleveland winter (same as new york, like by buffalo)....

Ours isnt horrible....but it isnt great either. We have the pirelli (sp?) snow sports on it and they do help alot, but I still couldnt get up a hill in slushy snow a few weeks ago. Not great when you have to get to work...lol

ive got the blizzaks and i love em. is/was yours autotragic? i find stick to be much easier in the snow cuz once i spin them i just shift and kinda coast through it...

lmao..yup it was an auto with sport shift (if thats what its called). New car is a stick....also has AWD tho so that helps even more

Oh no doubt....I have a 4wd truck...people fly by me in their stupid SUV's all the time in nasty weather. Im sitting there going "It doesnt make you invincible people!!!" lol I LOVE when they fly by me and then I end up finding them in a ditch...I honk and wave...pisses them off to no end LOL!

yeah, AWD cars can get going but are still going to stop the same as FWD or RWD cars........
