I thought this was assumed? Got an offer on hand, and the ads were priced accordingly. (wink) I'm not sure where Vasy is getting this $14-15K (Canadian?) number from, but it's far from reality.

Why not go back to the Mazda dealer and ask for a trade on the auto 5 or auto mazda cx5 or 5?

i'm a bit confused by this. the GT trims in the states are all autos. and it's not about the tranny. as of right now, there's not one single new vehicle from the mazda portfolio i'd touch outside of the "Mazda Mazda5".

Except with Carmax or any dealership for that matter. Unless he was buying another vehicle and carrying over the negative equity, he is going to have to come up with the difference to pay it off.

If you got an offer for the $19.5k asking price, then sell it.

Just make sure it is a legit buyer and toy aren't getting scammed.

I went with a new 2014 Deep Crystal Blue Grand Touring instead because finding a used 2013 Clear Water Blue Grand Touring was not really feasible (Southern California back in May 2014).

Yeah, I know the feeling. I was ok with dcb, but my wife didn't want it. Ended up getting a 2013 Touring cpo cwb with 1k on the odo for $18.5k.not the best deal, but oh well.

I love different. Chrome Orange, lime greens...oooh ya I am there.

But that gray haired blue..whatever fancy name they call it..YIKES. Need my AARP card first for that!

Personally I hate my Copper Red too. Its a very old person color (all old people have copper red miatas). That said, its the closest to red/fun color I could get on this car. Should have gone with refrigerator white, in second thought...

OP doesn't have the color, so he doesn't have to worry about it when it comes to resell....
