Seized Brake Calipers on 2017 CX-5

Around 3 months after getting new discs, pads and callipers on my CX5, fitted by my local garage using genuine mazda parts, I heard the same noise on the drivers side rear that caused me to get them replaced in the first place. Brakes had bound causing the discs and pads to wear to the point of needing replacement again. I see from several threads that this is not an isolated case. Has anybody got any advice on why this might happen ( I did find a disintegrated rubber collar on the calliper). Similarly has anybody tried using other brands of calliper that might be better quality than the mazda parts and might last a whole lot longer

Thanks for your reply. Truth is I'm not sure what was done when they were fitted but they failed at the end of a 3 hour stint of motorway driving with no indication of any issues for two or three months prior to that so I'm guessing they had been lubricated initially. The rubber sleeve over the pin had disintegrated when the issue was noticed so I'm guessing any lubrication may have washed away over time. I'm interested to hear if any other mazda owners had similar issues
