Seats installed: Corbeau A4s

wow, maybe I don't need a built motor just yet...

I dunno about such a lower driving position although I'd have plenty of helmet room.

lookin kick ass bro. hope you don't keep the harness like that for long. at least mount it to the base of the rear seats. It always worries me seeing people withthese harnesses and not being mounted correctly cause you can really **** up your back if you get into an accident. lookin good though.

it is installed correctly as to NOT hurt his back... the rear seat where the rear seatbelts buckle is also acceptable. connecting it to the rear base of the front seats is NOT acceptable

your post just sounded as if he had then installed incorrectly... which they are not

yes, where i have it- is safe and one of TWO locations recommended by Corbeau. :)
thanks for looking out. Btw, i'd only use that when racing or track/etc.

I agree that it would look better and be easier to conceal if connected to the lower mounting point when not in use

yeah the way you have the harnesses mounted is the safest
if you have them mounted at anything less than a 45 degree angle, if you are in an accident you will crush your spine
so if you want the harness to be hidden and mounted in a lower spot, just never use them unless you would enjoy being paralised.

Do those utilize the wedge bracket? Mine sit a little funny and my passenger side rubs the B-pillar.

4-6 inches?? Wow, my sparco sits as high as stock. I just installed mine 2 days ago. I got the bases, sliders and adapters from them as well. Hmm..I wish I was a bit lower..maybe 1 or 2 inches. Looks good though. I'll post pics of mine when i get a chance

Pat, where did you connect your stock belt buckle to the brackets? And when you get a chance, could we have pics of the harness mount points... bottom and rear. Thanks!
