Seat brackets?

Hey guys, trying to find seat brackets so I can mount racing seats. Does anyone know where i can find them? Or could I just use the brackets that are on the bottom of my stock seats? Any information would be much appreciated thanks!

Okay did some more research today before work and found a Sparco bracket http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/sparco-series-left-seat-base-mazda2-p-151303.html

Does anyone know which Sparco seat will attach to this bracket?

I was under the impression that any sidemount seat would fit with a bit of drilling on the base?
Porvided it isn't wider/bigger than the base.

Anyone about to clear this up?
I'll be buying a seat next week if I can just get someone to say 100% how to fit buckets.

Exactly my friend! This is not a cheap investment I want 100% as well haha. I may call Vivid Racing today and ask!

Ended up just buying a harness from my buddy, making a racing seat work is not worth the trouble... Will upload pics of the new harness tomorrow!

Still not got mine so can't review it but ended up ordering the sparco one.
Alot cheaper for you guys in the US so why not?

Could allways make some up or get someone to do so for you.

I did not even know Sparco had a bracket for the 2?!

Found this one but I am a total noob about seats, I have no idea which seats you can mount to this bad boy.

Unzip is here to save the day!!! Thanks buddy I'm excited to hear back. Their mazda2 B-spec car has a Sparco in it I believe so they will have an answer!

a guy on my local forum mazdasnw found these. seems a bit spendy, but i guess $300 ish is typical for custom brackets so they aren't far off. I'm going to give these guys a call and ask more questions.

after talking with planted, their brackets will fit the following after market seats

Bride, Cobra, Corbeau, Momo, OMP, Racetech, Recaro, Sparco, Status, and more from what i believe... but those are the majors!

When installing an aftermarket seat you will need a slider, or side mounting system. side mounts are for fixed seats and will not move unless you physically un bolt and move. sliders should function just like your oem sliders and allow for from to back movement. under your slider needs to be a bracket.

from my research brackets per seat will run roughly $120-150 and sliders will run right around $100. Most seat manufacturers will toss in sliders for free if you ask them! I hope this helps anyone in the future looking to install seats!

Pretty sure it's the one you posted. Got it off goodwin for better shipping costs though.
Was going for fixed sidemounts but don't ever think the seat will get inside the car now my plans have changed.

If Font or CS can sort you out I'd rather see money going to those guys.
More money for them to spend on more parts for the 2.

Hope to see some buckets in 2's soon =D
