Folks, I have a quick question: I have a 2002 Protege with manual seatbelts. The receiver (the female part) of the driver's side seatbelt no longer clicks when the belt buckle is inserted into it.
Has anyone replaced a receiver and if yes, can you walk me through the steps? I hope I do not have to take out the center console just to get access to the bolt that holds the receiver in place.
I did use the search function to see if this problem has been brought up before, but did not see anything. I am currently a poor grad student and can't afford taking the car to a dealer/mechanic.
