Seafoam Questions? Newbie to the foam!

Well I have heard good things about seafoam and I finally have wanted to try it on my stock MS3.

Where in the world do I put it in?
I don't want to affect my oil directly so I have to get an oil change imediately
What else should I know about this stuff?

I did search the forums but everything was so unclear

Also additional info:

Car has about 50k on it and lots of long distance mileage. What should I expect after this cleaning?
