Thats what im talkin about!! A friend i work with has a blue Spec-V, and the car does need improvement all around.

Just because u own the MP5 or MP3 u claim the Spec-V is Crap.
I own both, MP5, and Spec-V and it is WRONG to say either is superior.
Why don't you people fight about MazdaSpeed Vs Spec-V in some other forum.

Good call.
I personally like the way the Spec-V looks and the wheels are a perfect match for that car IMO.
I hope most of you can just accept that everyone has their own opinion and they are entitled to it.
You are so wrong. I used to have a regular 01 Sentra GXE. And it hauled ass. My mazda pro 5 is hella slow in comparison to sentra. Even my other mazda 323 is much faster............... I don't regret that i don't have the sentra anymore. But sentras are great cars for the price and now they have even more power, but they need to do something about the antenna. It's in the way and gets dirty the most!!!!
I'm new and still waiting for the guy from Indy with the Blue Protege to take my offer on a race. I live in Indy with a Blue Spec V and need to back up my product.
I do like the look of the Mazda, but it's still a Ford made product.
Also, why spend $300 or so to change that timing belt at 60,000 miles or 90,000 miles when you can have a Nissan timing CHAIN driven engine with no required maint. or replacement.
Anyways, like I said before I PM'd the guy so hopefully we can get together and at least get this performance thing out of the way.

Personally I think MSP, MP3 and the Spec V are both Meh...they all are just meh looking
the protege 5 is nicer looking of the 4 though.
I've always disliked the rear of both the sentra and the regular protege...it's sad to see that they didn't chage em for the specal edition cars...oh well
They're all good cars with both their weak and strong points no use to argue. It's a waste of bandwidth.

Well of course I love my turbo MP3, but in reality....
... I like the Audi S4 better. Or even yet the Porsche GT2. hehe
All I can say is that regardless anyone thayt has eithe rone of these cars should be happy. I remember when I was stuck with the 88 civic for 3 years. To me, eithe rof these would've looked heavenly.

SO evidently you don't understand the concept of why there are moderators in forums.
YES I DID CLOSE IT.....the individual that started it posted he was posting NO MORE....and OTHER owners appologized for the actions and stated that his views were NOT those of all owners on their other board and in general.....so why do you feel you have to continue the FIGHT? its done....its overwith, AND its STILL pointless....you guys CAN use your time and the space of this board for much more constructive activities

ehhh...never believed either car was superior...but i still like my p5 better...and yes our car is sllloooowwwww...but that's ok it's just a car to get by until my ferrari comes in...lol
I own a P5[WHO WOULDNT], and i've gone head to head w/a spec R, they are quick and lighter than the p5 so I wouldnt knock nissan's was so ever or a NEON for that fact! Yes i said it, DODGE NEON RT4 is a serious kick a$$ machine for the buck! I do love my car and i'll run against just about anything even if i know that I will get my a$$ whooped, however I pay my respects to all the good cars out there!

That is a sweet ride. The reason why I didn't really like an se-r was because of the looks. They'r eare kinda plain to me but that one is definately not plain. It's very catchy and and not outragous like some others can be. A very nice car indeed. Can you post a link to where you found that picture. I'd like to see more. Thanks

i too was considering a nissan sentra se-r spec v but mainly because i thought the MP3s were sold out. I went to take a look at the nisan dealer knowing i didnt like the exterior styling that much, but i ran from there as soon as i saw the interior....
In my opinion they are nice cars, and now that they have corrected the interior issue thats ok, but the exterior, specially the rear, needs some reshaping.
No need to bash other cars, every person is different so lets all be happy with what we have.

the spec v is damn fast, i know, my friend kicks my ass with it all over town all the time when we race. However each car is superior in different ways. I raced him going into a turn from a stand still and kicked his Nissan ass! As far as the twisties are concerned we rule! it is kind of hard to compare with two cars that have much differnce horsepower specs, but if i had money i would place it on the MSP.
last time i checked, MP3's where winning events, not sentras..... hehehehe
