Well i need some help. The other day i discovered that some asshole had vandolized my car. I left the car at my girlfriends apartment complex in her assigned parking space, when we went out of town for a few days in her car. They scratched my s*** up; the trunk lid and rear bumper. It also looks like they hit the corner of my rear bumper with something, it cracked the paint and small dent; not noticeable due to the dark color of the car. But the sratches are. Already paid like 200 to fix my front fender when i was vandalized about a year ago when they tried to jack my rims, this was in a different city. So looking to repair the damage without busting the bank.

so i was wonder how i would get the scratches out. Tell me what you think from the pics. Sorry the car is a little dusty and dirty. also for the poor photography.

Pic 1: back of trunk lid, pic 2: top of trunk, pic 3: up close of top. Pic 4: rear bumper. Pic5: fender damage.

There is a few things you might try. What i usually do is buy a bottle of touch up paint from the dealer. Then I use a small paintbrush like a hairline brush to fill in the scratch. I usually load up the brush pretty well so that it fills the gaps well. I let it dry, then usually go over the paint with a cleaner wax or polish, then buff it with some detailer. I think thats really easy. You could try scratch-x from meguiers (sp?) but I've never had good results from it. There are also some professional products out there that require a wet sanding and it comes in a kit, I never tried it.

Hope that helps.

i dont think you need to repaint these.. they dont look that deep. Try to go get a compound / buff

That usually takes out most scratches.

Here is a tip.. wet your finger and rub over the scratch, if it goes away temporarily it means a compound would fix it. usually for the whole car its 150$ so small parts shouldnt cost you much more than those products
