I have had this scraping or grinding sound coming from my passenger front wheel area. It's usually something I hear when I hit a bump. I also hear it when I'm just coasting/let off the gas, and many times when I'm braking. I thought it was my brakes, and I just had them looked at and replaced the rotors and brake pads. I left the shop hoping this would solve the sound, but it didn't. The sound is still there exactly the same. I took it right back to the shop and they looked at and the mechanic rode around with me. He could not figure out what it was. He told me everything in that area of the car where the sound is coming from looks good. He took the wheel off again and inspected it, and could not figure anything out. He said it's not something I should worry about while driving, but to bring it back when there are other mechanics in to have them listen to it. Any ideas?
