A buddy of mine crashed his speed6 and has decided to part it out while he buys a new car. I currently drive a mazda3 gt sedan and was wondering if you guys could help me out. He said I can have first dibs on any of the parts I want. I know the wheels will fit but what other things could I possibly take off the speed6 to put on my 3?

I would love to engine swap but thats out of the question lol. I plan on grabbing the interior and seat rails, wheels and tires, headlights (for lens swaps etc), boot spoiler, mirrors and bose speakers.

you could stand to make a little money if you sold some of that stuff for him. people always need stock parts.

about your question. you may have a problem with the seats. they have airbags in em. not sure about the passenger side but, driver side does.

also there is a weight sensor in the passenger seat that turns the airbag on or off. that may or may not be compatible with your car. when unplugged it needs to be recalibrated to 90lbs. how this is done is beyond me.

If you have a regular 3. the speed6 brakes may be considered an upgrade over your factory 3 brakes. there could be some common componentry between the two. but, the hubs where the caliper attach to are probably different anyway. which would require a lot of work.

Honestly, the wheels might be your only bet.
