Schick Quattro...OMGWTHITS???!!!!

With an electric I've got five a clock shadow well before dinner time.

Mach3 it is. Best razor out there, and the only one I can find where the hype is genuine.

Anyone try that razor with the tiny battery in it that vibrates or whatever? Sounds scary. Isn't that a version of the mach 3?

I have it and love it...'cept for the pukey lime green color scheme.

My wife bought me one for xmas, and I'm still going on the same battery (I shave only for work, so five days a week on average).

honestly i didnt notice a difference between the power and non-powered mach3's. so i stole the battery (AAA) for my remote and use it as a mach 3.

i flushed my mach 3 accidently....flushed the toilet, picked up my razor, juggled it..and dropped it into the flushing toilet..and down it went..

You shouldn't juggle razors, that's very dangerous. (no)

(laugh)

I tried Mach 3 a few years ago and it cut me up pretty badly. I'm still using Gilette Sensor Excel.

Well good to see I am not the only one that got wacked by schicks quattro. The Mach 3 I lost was the very same one that Gillette sent me on my 18th Birth day a few years back. My buddy has the M3 Power and he said it does seem to give a little bit closer shave than the standard mach 3.

As for electric shavers, they are nice and making shaving a lot easier but with them I have a 5 o clock shadow at 1 in the afternoon. I found myself shaving twice a day with electro's.

My fiance was wanting to try the quattro on her legs, and after my experience today I told her unless she wants to get stitches, to stay the hell away from the damn thing!!

p.s. and the Mad TV skit was funny as hell.

Hmmm, I'll have to try going back to razors. I've been using electric shavers for years but I have a 5 o-clock shadow by the afternoon also. I tried the manual razors for a few days a while back (think it was the Mach3 actually) and it cut my face to s*** so I went back to electric. Does your skin adjust to the manual razors after after a while (maybe I should have given it more than a few days)?

Yes, your skin does adjust itself to the different types of razors used on it. Electric razors for the most part cut differently, so your skin and hair is going to adjust to that, much like if you wear your hairstyle the same for years your hair adjusts to that one style the way it grows and moves.

When I first started using an electric shaver it took a couple of weeks for my skin to adjust before it started to really work, but than I had the 5 o clock look at 1pm thing going. Than when I went back to my mach 3 I would cut myself a little bit here and there for awhile...till I re-adjusted.
