Has anyone tried this out yet? Can you just let the vehicle slowly move toward a wall and trust it to stop. I don't know if I have the guts for that so I probably will not ever know if it works unless it saves me from rear ending someone.
 
yes it works - try it at 20mph at some cones/ cardboard . But have your foot ready for the brake as you still have to assist bringing to a complete stop.
It doesn't engage until after you would normally have started braking so just go with it

Anyone had an insurer recognise this feature and given a deduction ? I read the UK is giving savings based on this feature.
